"Ideas" Forum - Participate in the discussion of issues and problems like land use and development, environment, infrastructure, housing, economic development, transport management and tackle solutions to these problems by giving your proposed solutions. Five for a will be organized for 5 major urban issues.

:::::[     2. "Making Choices" Conferences - Attend sectoral conferences to discuss further the strategies to these urban problems. These sectoral conferences will be multi-stakeholder and participatory in approach. we will publish the schedule of conferences in the leading regional newspapers in the next few months.

:::::[     3. Public Hearing on Building Metro Iloilo's Future - Attend the public hearing that will tackle the results of the forums and sectoral conferences. This will be held in October 1998. It is expected that a consensus on the vision, goals and strategies of the MIDC will be developed and reached.

Putting this goal into practice is complex. That's why effective planning of the metropolitan Iloilo entails an integrated urban community development approach. By discussing, sharing, integrating and complementing our efforts for our communities future,we can convert our plans into a day to day actions.
